Billing Policy
This is the working RetainSimply billing policy. It should be reviewed before public launch, but the promise is clear: no surprise renewal by default, plain plan limits, and direct support for paid workspaces.

Pro is planned as yearly access at $240/year. RetainSimply should not auto-renew Pro by default. The dashboard and email reminders should tell customers before access expires so they can renew on purpose.
If a Pro customer does not renew, paid tools pause after the paid period ends. The workspace should keep the customer's data available for export and basic access according to the final data-retention policy.
Refund requests should be reviewed by a person. A simple launch rule can be: review accidental purchases within 14 days when the account has not received custom setup, heavy support, or delivered offline files.
Custom build payments are tied to agreed setup work. Once work is started or delivered, refunds should follow the written scope. Offline/owned files are delivered to the customer who purchased the custom build, with support sold separately after the included period.
Support add-ons, business setup help, data cleanup, and custom automation should be quoted clearly before work starts. The quote should state what is included, what is not included, and when the work is complete.
Referral credits are not cash, coupons for fake accounts, or unlimited free time. An active Pro customer can earn up to 12 free Pro weeks per calendar year after a referred business becomes a paid Pro customer and the refund-review period clears.
Customers should use Pro support tickets for billing help once signed in. Until the support desk is live, billing questions can go to support@retainsimply.com after Google Workspace is configured.
